JOINING HAND IN HAND IN PLANTING THE WORD OF GOD

     The Center of Help Ministry had established a partnership in planting the Word of God by supporting some foreign missionaries through food, clothing and financial support. Brother James Borjoguez, a Peruvian missionary with a Filipina wife, is currently doing missionary work in Luzon with his six children. His wife is paralyzed for several years already and is staying at the Bicol region. She has to be supported with monthly diaper needs and the food to sustain her. The Center of Help Ministry, through its own self-supporting financial resource and means, has tried to support these missionaries in whatever capacity it can afford.

     Sister Claire Wilfarht, a Filipina missionary who worked in Thailand is also one of the recipients of the blessings of God which we are able to extend. The amounts we are able to support are only meager for our resources only come from our own earnings selling Real Estate property.

     This group earns their personal support in the true missionary way living by faith. They sell Christian books, Christian tapes, Compact discs and Video compact disc while simultaneously promoting the Word of God. We have also supported them by making some arrangement on how we could help promote and sell their items in bulk sales so that they could have more funds to propagate the Gospel.

FEED MY LAMBS, FEED MY SHEEP

     Last January, 2003 the Center of Help Ministry was also able to extend some P1,000 worth of support to help finance the food needs of the Bible Seminary students of the Asia Center for Biblical Studies at Majayjay, Laguna c/o Pastor Virgilio C. Jacinto and his American wife, Sister Linda Blackford Jacinto.

     This ministry's mission statement is to train men and women for the work of the ministry in order that the body of Christ may be built up and the whole body becomes matured. They seek to help local churches by training and preparing workers who will return to their churches and will help in fulfilling the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ. Their desire is to develop students who are strong spiritually and have a solid biblical foundation upon which to build a ministry. Their goal is for their students to know Him, love Him, and have a desire to serve Him with their whole heart.

GETTING CONNECTED WITH OUR INTERNATIONAL BROTHERS

     The Center of Help Ministry has offered its God-given Information Technology knowledge to church and missionaries alike by helping them create their own Web page. Through this support, the Christian churches, Christian orphanages or Christian missionaries are able to present their ministries in the Internet. Among the web page that was produced for our brothers in the Lord is the Faith, Hope, and Love Kid's Ranch orphanage located at Sariaya, Quezon. All we asked from the recipients of this benefit is for them to provide us with the needed information regarding their churches, orphanages or ministries, some photos or other relevant items which could greatly enhance their information. PASSING ON THE TORCH!

     The Center of Help Ministry has started compiling preaching and sermon outlines of the great men of God. They have been properly encoded and presented in outline form. Among the sermons compiled are those of Charles Haddon Spurgeon, Charles Stanley, Kenneth Hagin and many others. We have also compiled several spiritual books, Bible commentaries, Bible dictionaries, Bible encyclopedias and other reference materials which we may share to God's workers in the field.

     We are also compiling the golden nuggets from God's word. They are in topical and individual formats. This is still an ongoing project.

     All of these items and spiritual books which we have compiled are available at the Center of Help Ministry office at 488 Alday Street, Candelaria, Quezon, Philippines. We pray the our Heavenly Father through our Lord Jesus Christ may provide us with our need, a second hand clear photocopier and tape reproducer so that we may pass all of these God's treasures to God's people.

FEEDING THE MOUTH OF BABES

     Every Sunday, the Center of Help Ministry is feeding around 10 to 15 children at their residence/ office. They are fed with the word of God and some literal food to feed their hungry stomachs. For the past several years, some of the children who came here and have received the Word of God and Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior are now teen-agers and have gone on their way.

     This ministry may just be a short-term stop over for these kids, but the seed that was planted on their hearts, the Word of God, will last forever. We can not offer much to these kids except for some soup and a bit of bread and a large chunk of God's food, His word.

     Once, we were able to ask for a bundle of used clothing from 700 Club and were distributed to the poor of our town. Now we can not just request for it again because it takes some budget just to get one bundle from our town to Metro Manila. We pray that somewhere out there, God may touch the hearts of people to break their alabaster bottles and pour it to the feet of our Lord. All we ask is for some used clothing, shoes, toys, children's books, canned food or milk or anything which God may dictate to them. We know we cannot return back the favor, but God can. FOOD, CLOTHING AND CHILDREN'S CENTER EQUIPMENT

     This July 2003, the Center of Help Ministry received from an American brother in Christ named Timothy a love gift for the children's ministry. The amount was a great help for this was used to purchase the children's chairs and table which they used for their Sunday teaching session here at the ministry office. A part of the amount was used to finance the food allocation for these children every Sunday. We thank the Lord Jesus Christ for His faithfulness in answering the needs of this ministry.
